The London Festival of Architecture (LFA) is calling for entries for its Open Studios programme
Open Studios, described by the LFA as ’one of the most popular elements of the festival’, will see participating practices offer their own curated programme throughout June in four areas across London – Southbank, Fitzrovia, Shoreditch and Clerkenwell.
Last year practices including Allies and Morrison, vPPR, Weston Williamson and Aukett Swanke took part. Programmes included debates, workshops and exhibitions.
According to the festival, Open Studios is ’an opportunity for the thousands of people who take part in the London Festival of Architecture to enjoy a behind the scenes glimpse into the life of London’s built environment practices’.
For the first time the RIBA, CIAT, Landscape Institute, NLA and Institute of Structural Engineers have joined forces to allow their memberships to participate.
Practices wishing to take part in LFA Open Studios 2017 should contact firstname.lastname@example.org. The call for entries will close on 21 March.
The LFA is heading into its 13th year and runs from 1 - 30 June.
