This week’s appointments include architectural assistants at TCD and Harrison Pitt architects

TCD Architects

TCD Architects has made two new appointments to its Aberdeen-based practice. Mark Lane, 25, joins as Part 3 architectural assistant; and Fiona Logie, 21, as a student architectural assistant. Both Logie and Lane will work on high-profile projects during their training, including a new depot for Aberdeenshire council, industrial facilities for a subsea firm and residential projects.

Hamilton Architects

Michelle Canning and Nicola Donnelly are the latest recruits to Northern Irish firm Hamilton Architects. Canning will work as bid manager, coordinating the various elements of expression of interest applications (EOIs) and prequalification questionnaires (PQQs) to full tender submissions. She will also oversee the company’s strategic marketing requirements. Donnelly joins as project architect, and will focus particularly on heritage-led regeneration.

May Jumah of Harrison Pitt Architects

Lancaster-based practice Harrison Pitt Architects has hired 36-year-old May Jumah, who trained in Syria before moving to the UK in 2004, as a Part 1 architectural assistant. As Jumah retrains to attain the necessary qualifications to practise in the UK, she will work for Harrison Pitt on the restoration of local churches and housing schemes.
