Boyes Rees team grows

Boyes Rees Architects has recently appointed an associate director, an associate and a technologist to join its expanding Cardiff based team

Design practitioner Maria Asenjo who joins as an associate and Paul Johnson who joins as a senior architectural technician, both bring a wealth of design experience to the team, whilst Russel Baker has joined the company as an associate director for IT.

Maria Asenjo has over ten years of architecture experience having originally qualified in Argentina in 1995, and has a significant level of expertise in environmental design and façade engineering.

Maria will be working with the healthcare team as a design and environmental champion, and will be responsible for the development and design of Reshaping Mental Health Services in Swansea projects.

Paul Johnson also joins the healthcare team and will be working alongside Maria on the initial stages of the Reshaping Mental Health Services in Swansea scheme.

Paul has over seven years experience in the field, and has spent the last five years specialising in healthcare, having worked on a number of large PFI healthcare projects.

Russel Baker, who has a background as an architectural technician, has over 25 years experience of using IT and CAD within the industry. As associate director for IT, Russel will manage the IT system for the whole of Boyes Rees Architects.
