Office manager and bookkeeper Scott William Golding has pleaded guilty to fraud and false accounting in relation to £200,000 which went missing cash from the charity’s accounts
The 47-year-old was charged in the summer in connection with the disappearance of money from the humanitarian architecture and disaster relief organisation’s bank account.
Golding appeared at Thames Magistrates’ Court in London today and admitted the charges of false accounting and fraud by abuse of position.
He will be sentenced on 17 December.
The organisation, which has carried out projects in Nepal, Haiti, Ghana, and Burkina Faso, successfully raised £130,000 to replace the some of the missing monies following an emergency fundraising campaign in July.
