Argent shakes up senior team after partners retire

Argent has made a series of changes to its senior management team, following the retirement of three of its partners

Senior project directors Anna Strongman and Will Colthorpe have been appointed as partners, while existing partner Michael Lightbound has been named finance partner. They will take over from Jim Prower, Tony Giddings and Roger Madelin, the latter of whom was also Argent’s joint chief executive and who now heads up British Land’s 19 ha Canada Water development.

Strongman will oversee all estate management, property management and regeneration initiatives at King’s Cross, while Colthorpe will be responsible for the office and hotel projects at the development.

The client has also announced a series of additional promotions within the senior team:

  • Steve Alderson – marketing director;
  • Rob Groves – regional director;
  • Phil Sullivan – construction director;
  • Phil Tait – programme director.
