Solving London’s housing crisis has perhaps been over-complicated, ventures engineer Alan Baxter, who has ‘a somewhat draconian’ proposal: no bed in the capital should contain fewer than two people.

The remarkably simple solution, proposed at an event last week, prompted some thought and reflection before Francis Terry pointed out that it wouldn’t be long before the population had doubled and we’d be back to square one.
