AJ Stirling Prize colouring contest winners announced

An architectural assistant at Purcell is the lucky winner of the #stirlingincolour colouring book challenge

Lily Lambert, a Lincoln University graduate working at Purcell’s Colchester office, has won a copy of Archi-Doodle Postcards (Laurence King, £8.99).

The winner was chosen by AJ art director Ella Mackinnon, who admired Lily’s ’neat use of shading’ and the clever colouring applied to the panels.

Ella also decided to award a special children’s prize, which goes to Simon, aged 10. Simon’s drawing was shared on Instagram by three-time Stirling nominee Reiach and Hall.

Simon is the cousin of Reiach and Hall associate Laura Kinnaird, and according to Laura he has the potential to be an architect, with his ’great spatial awareness’ and Lego and Minecraft obsessions.

Simon impressed Ella with his thoughtful application of contrasting colours, and he wins a copy of Iggy Peck’s Big Project Book for Amazing Architects.

The AJ Stirling Prize Colouring Book is sponsored by Deltalight
