The winners for this year’s retrofit Oscars - the AJ’s Retrofit Awards 2013 - have been announced
The prestigious Retrofit of the Year Award was scooped by Hugh Broughton Architects’ £3.15 million Maidstone Museum East Wing in Kent. The project won both the Cultural Buildings and the Heritage categories of the awards.
Cullinan Studio was the only other practice to receive more than one award: for the retrofit of their own offices and for the £240,000 Rosendale Primary School.
