ADAM Architecture has launched its annual student travel scholarship
Now in its tenth year, the £1,500 prize fund has the theme ‘art and craftmanship’ and aims to support research in architecture and urban design.
It is open to applications from students from Part 1 up to three years after Part 2.
The judges will be looking for ‘an original piece of research work and outstanding contribution to architectural knowledge’.
Speaking about the Scholarship, ADAM Architecture Director George Saumarez Smith said: ‘This is a great opportunity for a student or recent graduate to travel abroad to engage in international research in architecture and urban design. We have seen some very original and inspirational research over the last 10 years of the scholarship, and we hope that it has given the winners a boost in the early stages of their career.’
Shortlisted entrants will be asked to attend an interview and present their research proposal to the judging panel.
Previous winners of the award have travelled to Valletta, Japan, Cuba, France, Belgium, and Rome.
The closing date for entries is 24 April 2015, and full details for how to apply can be found, here.
