RIBA reveals Wren Scholarships winners

The five winners of this year’s Wren Insurance Association Scholarships for Part 2 architecture students have been announced.

They are Ruxandra Maria Gruioniu, Lilly Ingleby, Johnny Lui, Alexander Mills, and Charles Proctor.

The students, from University College London, the University of Sheffield, the Royal College of Art, and De Montfort University, each receive £5,000 towards the cost of their studies, and the opportunity to be mentored by a member of the Wren, architecture’s professional indemnity insurance mutual.

RIBA President Stephen Hodder said the scholarship scheme, which began in 2013, continued to recognise outstanding talent among architecture students.

‘Through a significant financial contribution to their studies, and the opportunity to be mentored throughout the last year of their Part 2, I have no doubt that these students will make the most of this exciting prospect and look forward to seeing how they progress,’ he said.
