My career as an architect has included working in both the private and public sector designing projects and advising clients on educational, community, restoration and public building projects both in the UK and abroad.
My present role involves giving design consultancy advice on education and community projects. This includes technical and design management advice from the earliest stages in a project through to completion. I also sit on various design review panels to ensure design quality is maintained through to the finished product.
Previous work has included design on individual projects, preparing reference schemes, as local authority education client design adviser, working with bidders on the PFI process, consultant to the DCFS on the academies programme, and as design manager delivering the BSF(Building Schools for the Future) programme supporting local authorities in the development of their education design vision.
