  • Comment on: McAslan shake-up: senior staff depart and Manchester office shuts

    martin Ball's comment 2 June, 2015 11:18 am

As a Tottenham resident I am wondering if the N17 Studio on the Tottenham High Road is to continue. This McAslan office - refurbished by £181,458 spending by Haringey Council - was initially a 12 month pilot project and houses a few staff. Can McAslan afford to maintain it? Or, will the council have to provide more financial support?

The McAslan organisational changes might explain the downbeat mood of Aidan Potter at a meeting last week to consider the company's design for a 22-storey tower for Grainger plc in Tottenham. And the widespread criticism of his design didn't help to cheer him up. "22 storeys of disappointment" one member of the public called it.
