[Submissions must be received by 4 October] The global hotel chain Marriot has launched an ideas competition seeking flexible and adaptable designs for its restaurants
All proposals must deliver a flexible space capable of being used for breakfast and lunch buffets, private dining, drinks area receptions and small business meetings.
The contest is without a specified site however a flexible dining area of 460m² has been given as a guide.
Conventional features such as a host’s greeting area, self-service open kitchen and recognisable dining areas and restroom are required.
A $15,000 prize fund is available.
