Jan Kaplicky, who died yesterday (14 January 2009), created spectacular, but controversial, landmark architecture. We look back at a career spanning more than forty years.
He worked on influential projects from Renzo Piano and Richard Roger's Pompidou Centre to the Stirling prize- winning Lords Media Centre. The AJ presents a selection of his projects
