Media-friendly engineer Mark Whitby made such an impact on television, demonstrating how the stones at Stonehenge were erected, that he has been invited to repeat his feat further afield - this time explaining the installation of the enigmatic statues at Easter Island. Whitby can think on his feet, of course, but was stumped for words at Paul Hyett's tenth anniversary party last month, having approached a distinguished-looking potential client with that familiar gambit, 'I'm sure I know you from somewhere.' 'I hope not, young man,' came the reply. 'I'm the Governor of Wandsworth Prison.'
