Yen for brick

  • Comment

The Japanese are nothing if not obsessional, a fact confirmed by the opening of the World Brick Museum in Maizuru, where bricks are normally hard to come by and extremely expensive. Some 10,000 visitors a month are able to see samples from, among other well-known London tourist attractions, Covent Garden, Scotland Yard, the Royal Albert Hall, St Pancras Station and the fictional home of Sherlock Holmes, 221b Baker Street.
