Worm's-eye view

Building owners round Cardiff Bay are facing up to an unhealthy interest in their bricks and mortar - by lugworms. As the tide rolls out the worms have apparently been infected with enthusiasm for the shining new edifices around them, and have been hurling themselves towards them, particularly the Alsop & Lyall visitor centre. Thank goodness Alsop's Cardiff Bay barrage will soon be in place. No more tides and the lugworms will all be well and truly drowned. The architect's revenge . . .
