Wooden heart

  • Comment

Solid pine flooring and timber-clad walls with a contemporary twist are two of the features of the timber house at Bo01, the City of Tomorrow European Housing Fair and Exhibition in Malmo, Sweden. AssiDoman Timber was a partner in the fit-out of this apartment, working with Aurum Arkitekter, Tue Traerup Madsen and Kim Dalgaard as interior designers. It succeeds in conveying the warmth that wood can bring without being folksy or heavy or dark. This is definitely a reinterpretation and continuation of the blond Scandinavian aesthetic.
