Will partnering hinder or help UK architects?

LETTERS

As part of my diploma course, I am writing a dissertation on 'Partnering and the Architectural Profession'. I will endeavour to answer the following questions:

What are the likely impacts of partnering on the architectural profession?

Are the impacts likely to vary according to practice size, type of work or practice location?

Can partnering be beneficial to both the architectural profession and the construction industry, or are the benefits mutually exclusive?

I would be interested to hear from any readers with experience of partnering who could either provide their own perspectives on these questions or offer general opinions, experiences or project case studies.
