This mixed-use town centre redevelopment in the east of the Netherlands includes 14 flats, a bank and retail space creating a new public square for the town hall. The aim has been to provide a configuration of publicly accessible spaces and routes which sustain, extend and improve the existing pattern of streets, passages and small squares which surrounds the town hall. The £1 million project is being carried out for client MABwith Dewhurst Macfarlane in association with ABT as the structural engineer, and Sweegers en de Bruijn as the services engineer.
