When a whooper goes topsy-turvy

Thank you for the complimentary copy of aj 28.1.99. My pleasure was somewhat marred, however, by the quaint photograph of a whooper swan, flying upside down! (Front cover, top right). One appreciates that architects like a fresh perspective on things but I don't think many whoopers would like to fly from Iceland on migration like this - Black Swans 'down under' perhaps!
