What a waste

  • Comment

The government must act if we are to cut down on construction waste by re-using building components and modules, a report by the Steel Construction Institute has found. Structures must be designed for re-use and recycling, the report says, but this can only happen if there are universal standards and systems for tracing materials. And the institute believes the impetus for this must come from government, possibly through the introduction of tax incentives. For a copy of the report call the Steel Construction Institute on 01344 623345.
