Westminster City Council

Westminster City Council this week ruled out any major refurbishment of Pimlico School after the governors rejected plans to demolish and rebuild the school under a PFI scheme (AJ 30. 11. 00). As architect Hawkins/Brown unveiled the governors'preferred £20 million refurbishment plan, the council told the school that no decision will be made about the future of the building until at least 2002, after a full review of education in the borough.
