The Movement for Innovation (M4I), the body dedicated to improving standards in the construction industry, appears to have sidelined architects in the subject of its first on-line debate next week. 'Who is responsible for driving innovation in construction - client or contractor?' is the first in a planned series of debates and will be started off by M4I board chair Alan Crane. It will run for 24 hours from 12:30 on 13 September. See www.m4i.org.uk or, to participate, pre-register by calling Tim Penrose on 0207 890 5923.
