I am pleased that the president-elect has already begun in his promise to help small practices by stopping Alex Reid in his tracks over compulsory e-mail. Is this really a national priority and why should we want 'to steal a march on other professions'? Some who have e-mail tell me they get swamped with information, most of which is rubbish, and someone has to find the time to look at it and read or possibly print out what is important.
This is only the beginning; it will get worse. It is difficult enough keeping up with things as it is. I'm all for face-mail. Maybe this should be compulsory for some?
