The new AJ is so significant a departure from the old model that I wanted to view more than one issue before passing comment. It is pithy, taut and well-composed, and the balance of style co-habits successfully with golden oldies such as Astragal et al. The coverage of 40 Under 40 was exemplary and a great showcase for some very fine work - by comparison, I was a participant in the last 40 Under 40 exhibition, which I think merited around six pages total in a rival publication.
