CHARACTERISTICS The high-performance plasterboard is designed for superior fire protection. Walls up to 10m high separate the retail units at Castlepoint, consisting of two layers of 15mm Fireshield on each side of 146 Knauf steel I-studs with a layer of 25mm Crown Wool in the void. A 'fire umbrella' prevents lateral spread of fire at the tops of walls

SPECIAL PROPERTIES The 206mm wall specification has a two-hour fire rating and a 54dB steel sound rating. With studs at 400mm centres, a maximum height of 10,000mm is permissible;

11,800mm at 300 centres
