VOTE LOSER

RIAS director Sebastian Tombs has, as anticipated, failed to be elected to the Scottish parliament. The Liberal Democrat candidate received 4039 votes, just over 11 per cent of the total, in his Edinburgh North & Leith constituency, putting him behind the Labour winner Malcolm Chisholm, the SNP and the Conservative candidates.
