VMZINC Corrosion-free Overlapping Panels

  • Comment

VMZINC 200 Overlapping Panels provide the ideal alternative to shiplap timber cladding. Pre-weathered colours do not fade or require recoating and zinc’s self-protecting patina prevents corrosion at cut edges. Panels are available in standard 3 metre lengths for installations up to 30 metres in height. A kit contains panels, flashings and fixings.

VMZINC 200 Overlapping Panels have no visible fixings and are available in pre-weathered ANTHRA-ZINC® (black) and QUARTZ-ZINC® (mid-grey). Coloured PIGMENTO panels are also available for projects of 500m2 or more. Panels have CWCT certification and a BRE Green Guide ‘A’ rating based on an 80 year lifespan. Designed for ease of installation, fixing can be either to timber battens or met cladding rails using ring-shanked nails from a Paslode air gun. The vertical framework provides a continuous ventilated air space across the façade while air inlets are also provided at its top and bottom.

Accessories for standard details, such as eaves apron strips, verges, corners, junctions and closure profiles are available. All are made from solid zinc.
