The World Wildlife Fund has produced an index measuring the sustainable credentials of the major UK-based housebuilders. Two companies - Countryside Properties and the Berkeley Group - lead the pack with a score of 70 per cent, while the remaining eight lag behind with an average score of 30 per cent.
