Eight student teams have been shortlisted for the 2012 Saint-Gobain Isover Architectural Student Design Competition. This year’s competition challenged students to create a sustainable community living plan for around 12 to 15 families, located in Nottingham’s Trent Basin at the border between the city and the industrial zone. The development must be designed in accordance with Saint-Gobain Isover Multi-Comfort principles, encompassing Passivhaus components.
Judging took place at Ecobuild, with the three UK winners announced in an award ceremony at 3pm on March 21 (stand N230) and streamed live on the Isover Portal.
All of the shortlisted finalists and their designs can be viewed on the official Saint-Gobain Isover competition website.
