VHH bags planning for Ealing school expansion

[First look + plans] London-based van Heyningen and Haward (VHH) has won planning permission to extend St Benedict’s School in Ealing, west London

The project for the prestigious Roman Catholic school features two new buildings.

The first structure, designed to Passivhaus standards, will host a nursery and new junior classrooms.

VHH’s second building will accommodate the school’s design and technology department and sixth form centre.

The project is due to start on site in summer 2014.
