BUILDING National Trust central office, Swindon

ARCHITECT Feilden Clegg Bradley

CLIENT National Trust

PRODUCT OSO controller

CHARACTERISTICS The controller acts as an intelligent interface between the buildingmanagement system and 307 actuators fitted on facade windows and a further 156 on roof vents to provide a comfortable internal temperature. If CO 2 levels or the temperature rise above a set parameter, the windows are opened to allow cool air in, while rooflights are opened to allow the warm, stale air out. Both close incrementally as levels are corrected

SPECIAL PROPERTIES Each of the windows and rooflights has an override switch
