V&A PROGRESSES

The institute is to resubmit its application for lottery support from the Heritage Lottery Fund to help transfer its drawings collection to the Victoria and Albert Museum. Money for retrospective cataloguing will form part of the application. Director general Alex Reid revealed that one fall-back plan on offer from the V&A is to store some of the collections in V&A-owned buildings on a large airfield in Wiltshire.
