Zaha Hadid is everywhere - quite apart from the feature on her in aj this week. Recent profiles about here have appeared in the Independent on Sunday, and more remarkably the Economist, which rarely features architects. A two-page feature a fortnight ago was both perceptive and complimentary, and concluded, surely accurately, that 'safety and submission are simply not her thing'. Meanwhile she has two new fans in the significant form of Lois and Richard Rosenthal, who have just increased the size of their donation to the Cincinnati Contemporary Art Center from $1 million to $5 million (the centre is, of course, being designed by zh, described by Mrs R as a 'fine example of a woman of achievement'). Fame at last!
