Richard Murphy Architects has been chosen to develop a £2.5 million scheme to add modern areas to a derelict Tudor manor house which is being turned into a centre for modern art. The architect will work on seventeenth century Poltimore House on the outskirts of Exeter. The changes to the Grade II*- listed home are being designed up to planning stage and for an Arts Council lottery application by Simpson and Brown Architects.
