TRANSPORT & INDUSTRIAL BUILDINGS - Ceiling panels follow a lazy route

  • Comment

Some 1,500m 2of Luxalon 80b linear ceiling panels have been used within the passenger lounge of a UK airport.

Finished in white, the panels are mounted onto curved aluminium carriers, creating a 'Lazy S' effect.

Each 80mm panel is separated by a narrow open joint and has 300mm curved channels integrated at 6m intervals to accommodate light fittings, wiring and electrical equipment. Panels can easily be removed by hand, ensuring efficient access to the plenum.
