Total Lighting's bright prospects

  • Comment

In its first year, Total Lighting at Interbuild 2000 has had to increase its allocation of floor space by 20 per cent to accommodate all of the exhibitors recognising that Total Lighting is the lighting exhibition for the UK.

More than 2300m 2of stand space is already booked, with more and more companies still signing up for what promises to be the biggest and most exciting event in the UK for many years.

Top names exhibiting include Concorde Lighting, CUPhosco, Philips Lighting, Artemide, Marlin Lighting, Wila Lighting, Wever & Ducre, Trilux and Urbis Lighting - and many more. Companies that have recently signed up for the event include Woodhouse (UK), Ventilux, Trilux and Tridonic.

Plans are also well in hand to make Total Lighting more than just an exhibition, with a number of special events destined to contribute to the Total Lighting experience. In addition to the debates and the master classes planned for the event, there will be themed daily seminars and further announcements regarding these will be made shortly.

There will also be various lighting design competitions. A committee - including lighting experts, top architects and engineers as well as representatives of industry associations - is already at an advanced stage in its planning of the ambitious programme, which will run on the floor of the show.

All these special features combine to ensure that this will be the largest and most exciting commercial lighting exhibition ever staged in the UK.
