The President's Medals interactive website, showcases all the submitted entries and offers a forum for international debate featuring artwork, biographies, contact details and statements of intent. Student work is openly accessed by the architectural community and a broader general audience internationally.
The website, which last year was shortlisted for the British Interactive Multimedia Association Awards, offers the public the chance to vote for their favourite schemes. In 1998 the total number of votes received topped 11,000, a total that looks set to be far exceeded this year.
To visit the website and cast your vote simply visit www.riba.net/talent. The winner of this poll will be announced on 14 February after the close of the exhibition at the riba Architecture Gallery, and will win a Virtual Medal and £3,600 worth of Autodesk software.
