Scotland's principal architecture centre, the Lighthouse, has launched an initiative to boost the role of artists in the design of new buildings. The scheme, dubbed LABEL, will give architects and interior designers access to artists who can be commissioned for large or small pieces such as sculptures or stained glass windows.

The scheme will be managed by independent consultant Neil Baxter in conjunction with the Lighthouse's own team.
