Textile Conservation Centre

Architecture plb has won the RIBA's Southern region Chairman's Award for 2000 with its Textile Conservation Centre and Reception Building at Winchester Art School Campus (pictured). The scheme clinched the award at a ceremony this week at King Alfred's College Library. A £3,200,000 extension of that college by Feilden Clegg Architects also received an award, along with ORMS' Matusch House at Yarmouth on the Isle of Wight and Blonski Heard Architects' Milton Keynes Theatre and Gallery.
