Terry Farrell & Partners

  • Comment

The future of Terry Farrell & Partners' £500 million masterplan for the western edge of the Greenwich peninsular is unclear as government ministers deliberate on whether the Dome will remain a tourist attraction or become a technology park. The practice last week unveiled plans for a 3 ha site next to the Dome, but Steven Smith, director of urban and infrastructure projects, admitted that the nature of the high-density scheme is 'slightly in the balance' until a decision later this summer. The scheme, for developer Quintain, includes two 32-storey towers and a riverside walkway with retail and entertainment facilities.
