This design was more a concept package, drawing in part on the Kent timber vernacular of boarding, steep pitches, varied building height, roof-rooms, archways and courtyards. The timber technology allows for cantilevers and bridging rooms over car access.
Areas are standardised enough to create a variety of dwellings from a set of only 15 basic components. The set was worked up in co-operation with fabricator Oregon Timber Frame. Layouts include set zones for staircases and services.
