Tate Britain galleries

The galleries at the enlarged Tate Britain are now taking shape, with completion scheduled for October 2001. Designed by John Miller + Partners with Allies and Morrison as landscape architect, the Centenary Development includes a new entrance and galleries, and refurbishment of existing galleries. The opening has been put back from summer 2001, following damage to air conditioning equipment caused by a burst water main.
