Van Heyningen and Haward has won planning permission for its Sutton Hoo Visitors Centre in Suffolk. The scheme for the archaeologically rich, National Trustowned Viking burial site consists of one timber-framed building with zinc roofs, housing an exhibition and another for a visitor reception, restaurant, shop and toilets. The team includes Livingston Eyre Landscape Architects. It should be complete next October.
