Susanna Heron is one of the minority that gives public art a good name. The colour photographs in Stills From Sculpture record three of her works and their genesis: the engraved slate frieze for The European Union in Brussels (right), the three-part 'Island' at Allies and Morrison's British Embassy, Dublin (aj 23.11.95), and the 'Sunken Courtyard' at Hackney Community College (aj 2.10.97). Heron gives brief accounts of the schemes and concludes with images of Eagle's Nest in the far west of Cornwall - that much-admired garden, blossoming on granite, which her parents created and where her sensibility was formed.
