Surreal world of Astragal's dreams

  • Comment
letters

Can what Astragal reports really be true, or is it the result of a fevered and possibly over-tired journalist sitting alone in a bar and making it all up? Recent columns have claimed, inter alia, that a developer has dug up the body of William of Malmesbury in his back garden; that a hundred trapeze artists are being trained for the Millennium Dome; that Philip Johnson is stealing other people's jobs at the age of 93; that Bryn Bird is giving up full-time engineering to work on an ornithopter; and that Lord Carrington is leading a team of architects round the Hellfire Club. I don't know what Astragal is on, but could the rest of us have some?
