Study of 'quickbuild' for sports buildings

Building Design Partnership has been appointed by the English Sports Council to study ‘quickbuild’ systems for small sports buildings. The work will identify manufacturers of high-quality prefabricated buildings, and consultants with experience in the use of standardised structures and components for the provision of such facilities. Buildings or systems include those that have been designed specifically for sports use or could be either permanent, temporary, relocatable or demountable for use as club houses, pavilions, changing, storage, etc. The study is anticipated to lead to an increase in orders for prefabricated sports buildings.

I, as co-ordinator of the study, would like to hear from architects and manufacturers who have been involved with completed sports buildings or complexes where prefabricated components have been employed.
