STUDENTS' RIBA SHOWCASE

  • Comment

Five students from the School of Architecture and Construction at the University of Greenwich are showing work at the 'Graphic Architecture' exhibition. The Society of Architects and Artists' student members exhibition is being held from 18 October-13 November at the RIBA Gallery, 2 Portland Place, London WC1.

The £25 million Sa´d Business School at the University of Oxford, designed by Dixon.Jones (above), has opened on time to coincide with the beginning of the new academic year. The faculty will cater for 712 students and staff.

The project had encountered a number of problems, including the site containing the archaeological remains of Rewley Abbey - Oxford's first seat of learning - and a derelict listed railway station, which had to be relocated.
