STUDENT SHOWCASE

  • Comment

Jonathan Spratt designed The Ruskin Institute as the final project in his third year at the Welsh School of Architecture, Cardiff University, under the supervision of tutor Richard Weston. The brief was to create a centre for educating people on the work of the writer John Ruskin on a cliff-top site in Rhossili. Spratt's response creates a journey through galleries into a three-sided colonnaded courtyard viewing the sea and sky beyond.

Student Showcase is sponsored by Students' Union, a website set up by Union in association with The Architects' Journal at www.students-union. net. To submit work for publication in Student Showcase, email a publication quality image to ajstudentshowcase@emap. com
